Africa Day

Africa Day commemorates the dawn of the Organization of African Unity (OAU), which was started by several African revolutionary heads of state, including: Julius Nyerere, Sekou Toure, Kwame Nkrumah and Nnamdi Azikiwe, on May 25, 1963. This momentous day represents all the faith and vision these leaders held for this continent and its future. Let us propel this ideal of a united peoples of Africa into tangible action and realization. At Nimbus Art Gallery and Bogobiri House in Lagos, Nigeria, we will celebrate this fine occasion with liberation speeches, traditional African cuisine, Pan-African music, African art and much more. The New Afrika is now!
